Defect:
The fit of the steering shaft coupling on the steering gear shaft may not be correct. due to overmachining in the bore of the coupling, the joint may be loose and may lead to accelerated wear and deterioration in performance.
Correction:
Two different kits will be provided free of charge. one kit is used to inspect vehicles already built and the other is used to replace the component, if it has been determined to be defective.

Poor metallic compound used to construct ball joints. these ball joints may wear in a short time under normal operation. worn ball joints may cause a separation of parts in the ball joint housing.
Correction:
Ball joints will be replaced and front wheels will be aligned without cost to the owner.

Consequence:

The suspect steering gear will be removed and replaced with a new or rebuilt gear.
