- The interaxle driveline u-joints may fail at low mileage due to lack of lubrication in the u-joint in the assembly process.
- Consequence:
- The driveline could separate without prior warning whichcould result in damage to the truck, nearby vehicles, and injury to anyonein the area when driveline separation occurs.
- Correction:
- Remove and replace the interaxle u-joints.
