Defect:

The brake assemblies do not meet the brake power and brake recovery sections of fmvss 121 "air brake systems".

Consequence:

The brakes may fail to provide adequate stoppingdistance in an emergency, resulting in a possible vehicle accident.

Correction:

Replace the brake shoes and lining with those that comply with fmvss 121.
