Defect:

The seat shells failed to comply with the structural integrity standards of fmvss 213. the plastic seat shells cracked during dynamic impact testing.

Consequence:

Child safety restraints with insufficient structuralintegrity expose seat occupants to increased risk of injury in a sudden stopor accident.

Correction:

Kolcraft will replace the defective seat shell with a newly manufactured seat shell of an equivalent kolcraft product.
