Defect:

The air brake hose of the assembly does not meet adhesion requirements of fmvss 106.

Consequence:

The low adhesion property of the hose leads to air beingtrapped between the plies, ballooning inward, causing hose blockage. hoseblockage results in slow braking or complete brake failure.

Correction:

Replace noncomplying air brake hose assemblies.
