Defect:

Turn signal and hazard warning switch fails to stay in locked "on" position when performing the hazard warning function. these units do not comply to fmvss #108. consequence of defect: if the switch fails to stay in "on" position, the warning signal to traffic will not be present and may contribute to an accident.

Correction:

Full credit will be given for all switches returned to the manufacturer.
