- The torque rods may not have sufficient penetration at the dog leg welds.
- Consequence:
- If the weld fails it will allow the rear axle to moveout of position resulting in vehicle instability and loss of control. anytimedirectional control is lost without prior warning, there is a potential forvehicle crash.
- Correction:
- A change in manufactuing processes will eliminate the weld on the dog leg tube. the tube will be manufactured by forming a continuous section.
