2010 HITCH-HIKER FOOD CONCESSION TRAILER Recall

Defect:: Hitch-hiker mfg., inc. (hitch hiker) is recalling certain model year 2008-2011 food concession trailers equipped with gkn brand axles. in the affected trailers, the axle may break allowing the arm, spindle, hub, wheel and tire to separate.
Consequence:: If the trailer is being towed and the axle breaks it may increase the risk of a crash.
Correction:: Hitch-hiker will notify owners and replace the axles. the recall began during april 2013. owners may contact hitch-hiker at 1-330-542-3052.
