Defect:

On certain fifth wheel trailers equipped with aluminum wheels, the thickness of the wheel may not allow for enough thread engagement of the lug nuts.

Consequence:

Lack of thread engagement could allow the wheel to separate from the trailer and a crash could occur without prior notice.

Correction:

Dealers will replace the wheels free of charge. the recall began on january 4, 2005. owners may contact komfort at 800-554-2711.
