Defect:

Vehicle description: boat trailers equipped with brake solenoids manufactured by kodiak/ims. as a result of a defective solenoid valve, the brakes may not actuate properly, resulting in the brakes locking up on trailers hauling boats.

Consequence:

This condition could result in a lack of braking on trailers hauling boats, increasing the risk of a crash.

Correction:

Dealers will replace these solenoid valves.

Notes:
