Defect:

The wires of a 12-volt solenoid located inside the side plate behind the driver's seat can short on the solenoid case.

Consequence:

This condition could result in a vehicle fire.

Correction:

Dealers will remove the solenoid and rewire the switching system using an existing internal relay.
