Defect:
The anchor end of the safety belt buckle was incorrectly located, causing the upper torso restraint to be improperly positioned.
Consequence:
Improper location of the upper torso restraint results in reduced seat occupant protection in the event of a sudden stop or crash.
Correction:
Dealers will reinstall the seat buckle anchor to properly position the seat and upper torso restraints.
