Power steering hose assemblies were built with incorrect end fittings. these end fittings were rated at 1250 psi working pressure and the correct end fittings are rated at 2000 psi.
Consequence:
The end fittings could fail under normal system pressure,resulting in loss of power steering assist and/or leakage of power steeringfluid. loss of power steering assist may result in loss of steering controlwhich may cause an accident. leakage of power steering fluid may result in afire.
Correction:
Remove and replace the power steering pressure line between the power steering pump and the steering gear box.

Defect:
Contact may occur between the windshield wiper motor and a huck bolt collar which causes a gear within the motor to fracture resulting in complete failure of the windshield wiper system.
Consequence:
Failure of the windshield wiper system reduces the operator's road vision in inclement weather and could result in a vehicle accident.
Correction:
Dealers will remove and replace the windshield wiper motor and remove the huck bolt and replace it with a pull-type rivet.
