- Wiring of the tell-tale module, located in the rear gate unlock-unlatch mechanism, causes the rear brakes to be applied and the rear gate to unlatch when the instrument panel push-to-test light is pressed.
- Consequence:
- When the rear brakes are applied unexpectedly with thevehicle in motion, standing passengers in the bus are exposed to increase riskof injury because of the sudden stop.
- Correction:
- Install the redesigned tell-tale module.
- Notes:

- Correct the calibration of the power steering pump.
- Notes:
- System: steering.vehicle description: transit coach under 30 feet in length.note: this situation was remedied by chance coach in july 1991.
