- Trw supplied power steering gears with non-heat-treated worm screws. the steering gears without heat treated worm screws can lock up in tight turning maneuvers.
- Consequence:
- Lock ups of the steering gear causes loss of steeringcontrol and could result in an accident.
- Correction:
- Replace the non-heat-treated worm screws.
