Defect:

The sawcut should run only halfway through the draglink section. instead, it runs through the entire section causing insufficient clamping force on the steering ball socket.

Correction:

Upon inspection, defective draglinks will be replaced without charge to owners.

Notes:

Vehicle description: low entry trucks equipped with centurion steeringdraglink.system: steering; draglink.consequences of defect: during continued operation, the draglink can separatefrom the ball socket, causing a loss of steering control and possibly, anaccident.
