Defect:
The involved vehicles fail to conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 123, "motorcycle controls and displays". the throttle fails to return to idle when released due to congealing of lubricants used in the throttle cable.
Correction:
The dealer will inspect, disassemble, and lubricate the throttle cable to correct the problem, without charge to owner.

Vehicle description: scooters and mopeds.system: throttle linkage and controls; throttle.consequences of defect: when the accelerator pedal is released the throttlecould become stuck, causing loss of vehicle control and an accident.
