Some of the involved vehicles may have an insufficient weld fillet size on the rear axle suspension perches which may create a condition whereby the perches could break off.
Correction:
The dealer will inspect and reweld those axle perches with insufficient welds, so that weld material extends completely to the edge of the perch. this will be done at no cost to owner.
Notes:
Vehicle description: tractor/truck.system: suspension; tandem axle, rear.consequences of defect: a broken perch could cause loss of the axle, loss ofvehicle control, and an accident.

Defect:
The wrong operational amplifier was installed in the controller on the involved vehicles. if a certain capacitor in the controller should fail, the brakes on the axle on which the controller is located would fail. the brake warning light which would normally indicate a malfunction, would also be inoperative.
Correction:
The dealer will inspect and, if necessary, remove incorrect controller and install a new controller and wiring harness.
