Ford campaign no 159.truck tractor.possibility that truck-tractor werebuilt to comply with fmvss 121 and were equipped with a pipe plug that had beenincorrectly released for installation in the exhaust port of the trailer airsupply valve.if this condition occurs, it will eventually result in loss oftrailer braking.(correct by inspecting and removing plugs from valve exhaustparts).

Ford campaign no 147.bus chassis and trucks.possibility that trucksequipped with air brakes may have been inadvertently built with an air supplyline from the foot treadle valve to the air supply tank that could becomedisconnected.should this occur, the air supply tank pressure would beexhausted and the service brake system could not be activated.(correct byinspecting and installing inserts where missing and tighten tube nuts tospecification).
