The first years quick time travel warmer and the 2 in 1 feeding tote & bottle warmer, p/nos 1320 and 1179 sold for use to heat baby bottles using the car adaptor power source. this design allows the unit to operate at higher than 12 vdc rating, causing the unit to overheat.

Consequence:

Overheating of the unit could possibly result in burns.

Correction:

The manufacturer will repurchase the affected units. the recall began march 3, 2005. owners may contact rc3 brands, inc. (the first years) at 508-588-1220.
