Equipment description: s&s v2 style 2 1/16" intake manifolds part nos. 16-2500 and 16-2520 manufactured between october 1, 1999 and march 31, 2000. progressive wear of the cast manifolds permitted an excess amount of material on the outer surface which presents insufficient clearance between the manifold and the carburetor spool.

Consequence:

The throttle can stick or bind if the carburetor and the manifold come into contact.

Correction:

The manufacturer is instructing dealers to inspect and repair the affected motorcycles.

Notes:
