Defect:

Certain rfd components wheels p/nos. ay-130 and ab-125 manufactured on january 1, 2005, and sold as original motor vehicle equipment. due to a defective weld, the wheel can fail.

Consequence:

A vehicle crash could occur should the wheel fail while the vehicle is in use, possibly resulting in personal injury or death.

Correction:

Rfd will notify its customers and replace the wheels free of charge. the recall began june 20, 2005. owners may contact rfd components at 574-295-3939.
