Defect:

Reflex reflectors fade over a period of time and therefore fail to conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard #108, color lighting for signal devices. consequence of defect: the faded reflectors may cause other highway drivers not to notice the vehicle in darkness, which may contribute to an accident.

Correction:

Reflectors will be replaced with new ones made from approved dyes.
