Bridgestone americas tire operations, llc (bato) is recalling certain fs561 replacement tires, size 255/70r22.5, manufactured january 25, 2015, to january 27, 2016 (dot weeks 0515-0416) for use on trailers. the affected tires may experience possible tread separation or detachment due to scrubbing during use.

Consequence:

Tread separation or detachment may result in a sudden loss of air pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.

Correction:

Bato will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. the recall began on february 4, 2016. owners may contact bato customer service at 1-800-847-3272.
