The involved tires fail to meet the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 119, "new pneumatic tires for vehicles other than passenger cars". after 47 hours of the endurance test, the tires exhibited tread tie-bar tearing and grove cracking to the carcass cords.

Correction:

Dealer will replace involved tires without charge within 60 days of recall notification.
