- Certain brasscraft canada brass street t pipe fittings, model no. 225-6, produced between may 25 and august 14, 2006, designed to be used in trailer air brake systems. the air brake systems containing the defective pipe fitting were sold as original equipment for use on various trucks and trailers and also sold as a replacement part. during manufacture, some of the pipe fittings were drilled too deep, resulting in a thin wall in the male pipe thread. the male pipe thread may break off during or after assembly.
