Big dog motorcycles 2004 mastiff sissy bars and struts, part nos. bmd220-00022, bmd220-00003, and bmd220-00004, manufactured between october 2003, and february 2004. the bolt connecting the sissy bar and strut and the sissy bar itself may be undersized.

Consequence:

Under heavy loading, this could cause the bolt or sissy bar to break, possibly resulting in injuries.

Correction:

Big dog will notify its customers and replace the parts free of charge. owner notification is expected to begin during july 2004. owners who take their motorcycles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact big dog motorcycles at 316-267-9121.
