- Agility fuel systems (agility) is recalling certain compressed natural gas (cng) fuel systems, part numbers 22989600, 24990722, 24989800,23708001, 23710031, 25600000, 25799500, 22999800, 22989700, 24990601, 25789600, 25789800, 22999500, 22999700, 25799700, 25799800, 25729800, 22929500, 22922500, 25769500, 25769700, 25799500, 22969500, 22969600, 22969700, 22969800, 22999600, 24269800, 24960800, 25789700, 25799600, 23914000, 25640000, 25653000, 23913000, 23910000, 23903000, manufactured august 1, 2014, to june 1, 2015. the affected systems are equipped with pressure relief devices (prds) that may not function as designed and vent a buildup of pressure, such as could occur if the compressed natural gas (cng) tank was exposed to fire.
- Consequence:
- If the prd does not activate in the event of a buildup of pressure, the cng tank may explode, increasing the risk of fire and injury.
- Correction:
- Agility will notify owners, and dealers will replace the defective prd's, free of charge. the recall began on august 20, 2015. owners may contact agility customer service at 1-949-267-7745.
