Roush performance products, inc. is recalling 81 model year 2010 ford mustangs manufactured between april 9, 2009, and july 15, 2009, and that were altered by roush to include a sport brake kit option. the caliper anchor plate mounting bolts may become loose or dislodged during operation.

Consequence:

This failure may result in a loss of stopping performance, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash.

Correction:

Roush will notify owners and repair the vehicles free of charge. the safety recall began on july 24, 2009. owners may contact roush at 1-866-307-6788.
