2010 FEDERAL COACH SPIRIT Recall

Defect:: Federal coach, inc. (federal) is recalling certain model year 2010 spirit and premier transit buses, equipped with a&m systems-brand door actuators. voltage spikes may damage electrical components and electrical circuits, causing the actuator's circuit board to develop high resistance.
Consequence:: High resistance may cause the board to overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.
Correction:: Federal notified owners and dealers will replace the circuit board, free of charge. the recall began in june 2014. owners may contact federal at 1-800-348-7440.
