2008 PREVOST VIP Recall

Defect:: Prevost is recalling 189 my 2008-2009 xlii-45, xlii-45e, x3-45 motor homes and h3-41, h3-45, and vip motor coaches. due to improper installation of the escape hatch retaining bolts, these bolts can break.
Consequence:: If the bolts break, the escape hatch can fall down on to the roadway, increasing the risk of property damage or a crash.
Correction:: Prevost will provide parts and installation instructions to the owners of the affected vehicles. the recall began on october 21, 2008. owners may contact prevost at 1-418-883-3391.
