Defect:

On certain enclosed cargo trailers equipped with rfd wheels, there is a defective weld of the wheel's center hub to the wheel's rim.

Consequence:

This could result in a wheel separation increasing the risk of a crash.

Correction:

John h. enterprise/atlas specialty is working with rfd and rfd is conducting the owner notification and will replace the wheels on affected trailers. owners may contact rfd components at 574-295-3939 or john h. enterprise/atlas specialty at 1-574-293-6008.
