Defect:

On certain snowmobile trailers, inadequate welds that attach the axles to the body of the trailer can fail.

Consequence:

A failure of the axle to body attachments could result in personal injury, property damage, or both.

Correction:

Dealers will inspect and re-weld the axle to the body of the trailer. the recall began june 1, 2004. owners should contact featherlite at 1-877-903-1444.
