- Vehicle description: fold down trailers which use gas/electric absorption refrigerators supplied by norcold. the swivel nut which is an integral connection component of a pressure tap device has "stress corrosion cracking."
- Consequence:
- This cracking can lead to an open fracture in the brass nut, potentially allowing propane gas to leak.
- Correction:
- Dealers will remove the swivel nut/pressure tap component and replace with a remedy kit.
- Notes:

- If a fire occurred in the motor home, the pleated shades would burn at an accelerated rate, increasing the risk of personal injury.

- Dealers will replace the pleated shades on these motor homes.
