Vehicle description: rv chassis. the valve stem on the rear inner tire could rub against the wheel and develop a leak.

Consequence:

A loss of air on the inner tire could overload the outer tire if undetected, increasing the risk of a crash.

Correction:

Dealers will install a valve stem extension stabilizer.

Notes:

Consequence:

A loss of throttle control could occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

Correction:

Dealers will reprogram the engine control module. owner notification began may 14, 2001. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact freightliner at 1-800-547-0712.
