Defect:: Vehicle description: folding trailers. improper tire clearance (less than 5/8") between the wheel and front frame cross member can result in the tire rubbing the metal frame.
Consequence:: A loss of tire tread, overheating, and possible tire failure could occur.
Correction:: Dealers will inspect the trailers and correct tire clearance.
