Vehicle description: built bodies (freightliner mt-55 chassis). the passenger seat only seat base anchorage does not comply with the requirements of fmvss no. 208, "occupant crash protection."

Correction:

A proper anchor base will be provided to owners of these vehicles.

Notes:

Owner notification began march 15, 2000.owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact union city at 1-765-964-3121. also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
