- Vehicle description: light duty pickup trucks equipped with dunlop tires, size lt215/85r16. these tires are experiencing deflation as a result of stress splits or cracks occurring from the point of attachment of the sidewall to the square bead wire bundle, with resulting damage to the tire ply.
- Consequence:
- Tire deflation could occur in loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Correction:
- Dealers will replace these tires.
- Notes:
- Owner notification began august 30, 1999.owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact nissan diesel at 1-972-756-5500.also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
