Defect:

On certain conversion vans built on gmc express and ford e-150 chassis with a glue-on only style raised roof, if the glue were to completely release, the raised roof can come off.

Consequence:

This could result in a crash.

Correction:

Dealers will install aluminum trim with screws to keep the roof from loosening. owner notification is expected to begin during january or february 2004. owners should contact quality at 1-800-373-6357.
