Defect:: The seat belt retractor located next to the driver and passenger seats will not allow the belt to be extended so that it can be used.
Consequence:: In the event of an accident, the vehicle driver or occupant would not be properly restrained increasing the risk of personal injury.
Correction:: Dealers will install new seat belt assemblies in these vehicles.
