- Defect:
- The generator fuel supply hose located adjacent to the generator was not routed or clamped properly and could come in contact with the engine exhaust.
- Consequence:
- This contact can cause the hose to deteriorate and allow gas to be released which can cause a fire. this can result in bodily injury and/or property damage.
- Correction:
- Dealers will install a new fuel hose which will be rerouted and clamped away from the exhaust giving the hose adequate clearance.
- Notes:
- Owner notification:owner notification is expected to begin duringnote:owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact winnebago at 1-515-582-6939.also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-800-424-9393.
