- The awning attached for the slide-out room can unfurl or unroll during transit causing the bracket to rip free of the sidewall.
- Consequence:
- The awning could break loose while the vehicle is in motion resulting in a vehicle accident and personal injury.
- Correction:
- Carefree of colorado is conducting the owner notification and remedy for this campaign. dealers will install arm locks, anti-billow studs and brackets as well as wind deflectors on these awnings.

- The spare tire carrier hoist components can become loose while traveling and allow the spare tire to move from its stored position to the road surface.
- Consequence:
- The spare tire can contact the road surface increasing the risk of a vehicle crash or property damage to the following vehicles.
- Correction:
- Dealers will add a primary spare tire support bracket.
- Notes:
