Defect:
The vertical and horizontal welds on the cargo tie down devices were not properly welded.
Consequence:
The cargo tie downs can separate causing the loss of cargo increasing the potential for a vehicle accident and injury.
Correction:
Dealers will inspect the welds and, if necessary, reweld all improper welds.
