- Power steering hose assemblies were built with incorrect end fittings. these end fittings were rated at 1250 psi working pressure and the correct end fittings are rated at 2000 psi.
- Consequence:
- The end fittings could fail under normal system pressure,resulting in loss of power steering assist and/or leakage of power steeringfluid. loss of power steering assist may result in loss of steering controlwhich may cause an accident. leakage of power steering fluid may result in afire.
- Correction:
- Remove and replace the power steering pressure line between the power steering pump and the steering gear box.

- Defect:
- Contact may occur between the windshield wiper motor and a huck bolt collar which causes a gear within the motor to fracture resulting in complete failure of the windshield wiper system.
- Consequence:
- Failure of the windshield wiper system reduces the operator's road vision in inclement weather and could result in a vehicle accident.
- Correction:
- Dealers will remove and replace the windshield wiper motor and remove the huck bolt and replace it with a pull-type rivet.
