Defect:: Parking brake release rod "l" bracket can bend, resulting in the release of the parking brake.
Consequence:: Unintentional release of the parking brake of anunattended vehicle may cause the vehicle to roll and result in an accident.
Correction:: Blue bird will provide replacement parts and instructions to allow vehicle owners to replace the parking brake lever and support bracket.
Notes:: System: emergency parking brake; mechanical.vehicle description: buses equipped with foot applied parking brakes.
