The labels required by fmvss 217, "bus window retention and release," which indicate the location of the nearest window exit, are missing.

Consequence:

In an emergency, occupants could have difficultylocating the nearest exit, creating a safety risk.

Correction:

Owners will be provided with instructions and ample labels to be applied to these buses.
