Defect:: A gap between the master cylinder and remote brake fluid reservoir adapter is caused by an out-of-specification condition in the adapter, resulting in hydraulic fluid loss during brake application.
Consequence:: Brake fluid loss results in loss of pressure, causingpartial loss of braking ability.
Correction:: Replace the out-of-specification adapters.
