- The metal sheathing of the parking brake cable can separate allowing the inner load bearing cable to pull through the housing, relaxing cable tension and releasing the parking brake.
- Consequence:
- Releasing the parking brake without operator intent cancause vehicle rollaway and result in a vehicle accident.
- Correction:
- Replace the parking brake cable.

- Remove, clean, and grease front wheel bearings and hubs.
