- Defect:
- Undersized bolts, lock washers, and nuts may been used to attach the driver's pedestal to the floor.
- Consequence:
- This could cause premature separation of the seat andseat belt attachment from the floor during a crash with potential for injury tothe driver; also, buses would not comply with fmvss 210.
- Correction:
- Replace non-complying driver's seat attaching hardware.
