- Defect:
- The "limit stop pin" can back out of position allowing the telescoping steering column mechanism to travel beyond specification.
- Consequence:
- This can affect the steering control of the vehicles, and could result in an accident.
- Correction:
- The lower steering columns will be removed and replaced on all vehicles.
- Notes:
