Defect:

The "limit stop pin" can back out of position allowing the telescoping steering column mechanism to travel beyond specification.

Consequence:

This can affect the steering control of the vehicles, and could result in an accident.

Correction:

The lower steering columns will be removed and replaced on all vehicles.
